Retrofitting Suburbia Living Smarties Conference

David Holmgren is the co founder of permaculture, a worldwide movement looking at how individuals and communities can better plan living systems to be more in keeping with a sustainable future. His latest book – RetroSuburbia: The Downshifter’s Guide to a Resilient Future looks at a more sustainable model for our suburban lifestyle. Most of us can’t head to the country – As the keynote speaker at this conference David’s talk will look at how we can retrofit right where we are.

After David’s talk the conference group will move into Open Space, where participants can decide on the conversations they can have that are most relevant to where they are.

We are asking all participants to bring something to share for lunch, plus their own mug, plate and cutlery. (Please don’t bring anything that needs heating)

Volunteers are needed for set up and pack down, the front entrance, morning tea and lunch organisation etc. Volunteers will receive a free ticket
